While specializing in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, tear ducts, orbits and face, Dr. Hobson has had a unique and varied background as a member of the multi-disciplinary teams at the Center for Skull-Base Surgery, The Facial Nerve Center, The Midwest Center for Cosmetic Surgery and The Center for Medical Robotics and Computer-Assisted Surgery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania prior to returning home to Indiana in 1994.
These relationships have allowed him to help pioneer the development and application of various innovative surgical techniques and technologies including minimally invasive endoscopic surgery, as well as the use of lasers and advanced 3-D imaging in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Hobson continues to be an active author and lecturer both nationally and internationally.
He and his wife Karen reside in Indianapolis where they are actively involved in church and civic activities while enjoying squash, kayaking and biking.
