Richard A. Burgett, M.D., FACS

For Indiana Univeristy, Dr. Burgett also serves in the Department of Ophthalmology within the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute as Associate Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology and Director, Oculoplastic Surgery Service

Dr. Burgett has written articles and book chapters on a variety of topics relevant to ophthalmic plastic surgery. He has maintained a strong emphasis on teaching by being a clinical instructor for the Indiana University Department of Ophthalmology, Indiana University Department of Otolaryngology, and Methodist Hospital Emergency and Trauma Center. He directs the annual Orbital Anatomy Course at Methodist Research Institute. Dr. Burgett is a native of Indianapolis. For hobbies he enjoys bicycling, camping, and international travel.
